New Help!!!! E510 question

New E 510 After taking a few shots i can't seem to figure out how to use the digtal zoom and then save the image.I can view it but not save it. Anyone help:mad2:

i think what you're talking about is cropping the image. you should be able to do that with the software that came with the camera pretty easily. the digital zoom during playback, or when in live view mode is just used to get a closer look at what you're doing since the screen you are looking at is so small.
digital zoom is just cropping your image.

Once you take the picture it is stored on the CD card or the XD card. Then you need to transfer it to the computer for editing. You can view the picture you took on the LCD and enlarge it and view info or EXIF data but you can't crop it. I hope that helps.

Well this is certainly good to know. Finaly a version of a Digital zoom I would actualy use, I never use digital zoom on my poin and shoots because it saves the image displayed, I'd much rather crop it myself later.
