Does the auto zoom manual focus feature work with a non Micro Four Thirds lens? Errr - how about with an adaptor? Have you shot any portraits with that OM lens? I'd like to see some serious stuff shot with it.

Not with the Panasonic adaptor, you have to put the camera into MF magnification mode yourself.
Then you can do the usual magnification change 7x/10x on the roller control.
Then switch off magnification for the final composition.

Same on both the E-P1 and the GH-1 though the menu options and key presses are different. Oh and you have to tell the camera to shoot without a lens. Otherwise the LCD shuts down and the camera powers itself off.

I have no victims for portraits, Angie won't let me. So I will have to clean off a mirror and to self-portraits. Or torment the Cat.
The effective 100mm is perhaps a little long for portraits ?
