Max memory size for an evolt e-510?

1 question what is the maximum memory I can use in this camera?

I gave one to my father this xmas,.. and he is so happy, almost half as I am!

but i dont know the max memory size, perhaps 4 Gb?

i have read that it can hold up to 8Gb with hitachi microdrives, but better ask the pro's ( hehe ) here in the forum

You can use as big a CF card as you like. But I prefer just using a lot of 1 or 2 gig cards. That way if one quits working you still have many backups. When you buy more expensive cards you are really buying more speed. The camera will write to the card faster and faster upload times to the computer as well. You might also pick up a card reader. It's better to plug the card into the computer than the camera. Congrats on the 510. It's a great camera.

I've got a 4gb 266x card, a 2gb and a 1gb XD picture card. All work great with the E-510.

Enjoy the camera, I know I like mine so far.
