But I'm slowly getting racing shots with the E-P1
It's slow, one shot every 3 seconds as it write to the card
Either with the body firmware update, or the lens firmware update, or I'm improving ...

I can only shoot one image, then the screen goes blank.
So I have to wait for the save to complete and the screen lights up again.
I have to frame and pick the moment, which isn't a bad thing :)

is there shutter lag as well or does the shutter close when you hit the trigger? Either way you are definitely showing us that it isn't the equipment that makes the photographer SW =P

I haven't got the Lightroom processing parameters sorted out yet.
These are raw to jpeg with no optimisations.
No attention to colour fringing, or vignetting.
I think they can be improved :)

Oh if you want soft, try the GH-1 and 14-140 vs the E-P1 and 45-200

Yes, I was. A great event as always.
We're GRRC members, so once I get the engine in my roadster rebuilt - I'm off for a track day at Goodwood. Possibly also a few appearances at eh breakfast club at the weekend, we'll see.

I really liked the aircraft shots. Especially the one of the Vulcan bomber. The last time I saw a Vulcan was at an air show at El Toro Marine Air Station in 1975.
