sadly, i have been using my XZ-1 more than my dslr, DSLR is sitting in the bag and i havent even touched it. It is mostly due to the fact that xz-1 is small and portable. I only wish there was a way to control NR on the xz-1,might sell this and move to EPL or GF2

I got an EPL-1. My only issue with it is it lacks a good way to shoot manual. But other than that it is a great camera.

    Nice shot!

I'm looking forward to doing some macro shots of my garden as the summer goes on.

I'm also curious about how the macro mode functions while photographing animals. Is it just impossible due to all the movement? I guess that depends on the animal though eh?

Huh? Just turn the dial to "M" for manual (not M for murder).

Snapped a couple of quick macros in my front yard. Summer makes it easier but I'm no expert for sure....

    cheers
