Lens Compatibility

I was wondering if there were any other compatible lenses that will work for my E420 body, besides the Zuiko and Olympus lenses???

Sigma is the only other option I know of. If you don't mind manual focus almost anything else can be used with an adapter. Lots of old om glass.

Check Adorama. They have pretty much all the glass and about the best prices too.

None that I know of.

look at four-thirds.org, they list most of the lenses for the four thirds platform, you can even get some OM lens from olympus (http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography...uiko/index.htm) they can be used with 420 with an adapter, u will lose auto focus with that.

If you want auto focus then you have to stick with Oly and Sigma, otherwise any legacy or other lens will work.

Also, look at samyang, they released couple of lens (85mm f1.4, 8mm f3.5)

Ok, so I have my eye on a OM 50mm f1.8. So i would need and adapter. My question is what adapter do i need. I see many different types out there. I dont want to purchase the wrong one and my lens not fit.

Body is a E420 with a OM 50mm lense..
