I don't know what to do now......
Because I love using my manual focus lenses, the 50mm and 135mm are soo sharp, I saw a split prism focussing screen on ebay and thought it would help me to get quicker and more accurate focus. Lets face it the original view finder is a little small and I aint getting any younger.

It looks ok to me, but I was sure I'd heard someone saying the results can be iffy to say the least, and to be honest I'm really worried that I'll screw it up in some way.

So, the question is, shall I install it or not. Does anyone have any experience of these things?

    Thanks everyone.

On an Olympus, I have no idea.
On Canon I read that the central microprism upsets the spot metering.

I looked at the ebay ones and not sure they are very good, so if you install it, please let us know how well it works.
I was looking at the Katz-eye and haoda ones for my d80. The Haoda is less expensive than the Katz-eye but both are way more than the chinese ones on ebay.

I agree with Frog. If you try it be sure and post your thoughts. The view finder on the E3 is larger the the other cameras and is easier to MF.
