I had another post about spotlighting. I went out to try this tonight with my studio lights. I attached the snoot to the backlight. The small light of my britek 2500 3 light kit. Ok then I put the spotlight on the face. Turned all other lights out. I played around with the fstop.. and NOTHING... I couldn't get the lighting I was seeing. It was to bright or solid black, then I played around with shutter speed. I had to end up setting the shutter speed down REAL LOW in order to even get a hint of what I was trying to get ( spotlight on the face). No kid is going to set there that long waiting on the shutter Please please someone tell me what I am doing wrong. Also when I set the lighting to a soft glow , when I look at it it's a pretty light, but then when I play with all my fstop settings and shutter speed. I cannot no matter what I set it to get this light to capture either. Please someone any help at all?? :mad2: Thanks so much
Forgot to add I am shooting this with olympus e500.. That is why I put it under olympus I hope this is in the right place..
