Disney trip question

My mother is taking my family and my sisters family to Disney World for Christmas. My question for you guys is, if you were making the trip and only wanted to carry one lens around what lens would you take?

We'll be staying 4 days and I plan to carry my E-510 as well as my Sony DSC-HXV5. The lenses I currently have are listed below in my sig. but I'm not opposed to purchasing something.

Thoughts?

14-54mm would be my choice. Take a tripod for night shots.

Looking at your sig I am not sure I wouldnt care the 50-200mm as well. Just get a comfortable bag. It would certainly be my second choice for shooting kids on the rides.

Seemed to have no problem with my Canon pro gear, or the micro 4/3.

I agree with Greg, 14-54 would be my choice. I'd probably through in the 40-150 just in case, it is small and light enough to carry.

I agree - 100%. Although you want just one lens, the 40-150 is so light weight I would take it just in case.

I've pretty much settled on the Panasonic 14-140 for micro 4/3 walk-about.
With two bodies then the 14-42 on the E-P1 and 45-200 on the GH-1.

Maybe you should sell your two kit lenses and get the 70-300mm. With what you have I see no need for either. But a m4/3rd would certainly be an excellent choice.

I'm heading out Saturday and I think I've decided. I've re-arranged my Lowepro slingshot so my camera will fit with the 50-200 and then put the 14-54 in the upper compartment. The camera with the 14-54 will not fit in the case along with the 50-200 in the main compartment, but with that lens I'll be carrying it around my neck anyway, so to get everything back in the case I'll have to take off the smaller lens. I'm also taking my Sony just to have something small if needed. I also got a gorillapod from a friend for Christmas so that's going along in the bag for a tripod.

I'll be sure to post some photos when I return.

I was just at universal this summer and my 14-42 and 40-150 came in pretty handy.. I used the 14-42 more so than the 40-150 though.

I've only just started sorting through ~800 photos from Disney. I think the lenses I took were the perfect choice. Here's a couple of quick shots from Animal Kingdom.

We did have a good time. The 800 was just on my DSLR, we've got a couple hundred more on a couple different P&S's. The kids had fun on all the rides, but I think I enjoyed Animal Kingdom the best. I've got ~130 shots of just the Gorilla's, amazing creatures. There were several blankets laying around and this guy took one of the blankets, flicked it out, twice, so it would expand and float down to the ground, like he was making a bed, then laid down.
