C3000Z add-on lenses for beginner

I own an Olympus C3000Z and just bought the CLA-1 adapter which is supposed to allow me to add lenses.
I am a beginner to photography in general, and digital photography specifically.

My main interests are nature photography for birds usually. I also like nature foliage scenes.
Also I take a lot of grandkid pictures as well.

I was wondering what kind of add-on lenses I should consider, and does the CLA-1 adapter limit me to just Olympus lenses or are any lenses now available.
By "what kind" I don't just mean the brand name, but also the size and type (i.e. mm size, and telephoto or macro).
