40-150mm f/3.5 on E-510 SeaDoo action pics
First day out with this lens. I was driving the boat, so many of them were a bit shaky or poorly framed. The lens performs very well for such an inexpensive item, I was pleasantly surprised. Focus is very fast in bright light (not so much in very low light). Only minimal post-processing was applied, just straightening and a little cropping. Colors and exposure are as-shot in RAW, processed in Aperture 2.

Yep, I have one as well. For a kit lens it does quite well. Unless you are wanting to do a lot of sports it gets the job done. It is a very good portrait lens too.
