12 - 60 Wow!
Yes I know I said I couldn't justify the expense...
Found a great deal on ebay. As an added bonus the seller hopped on his motorcycle and dropped it off. Turns out he is a long time Canon user who bought a Panasonic body and the lens. Couldn't get on with the Panasonic and upgraded his Canon body instead. Here are a couple of shots I took between the front door and living room at either end of the lens. No post processing but did crop the 60mm shots.

Re: 12 - 60 Wow!
Congratulations. Blinding fast lens. Sharp too. Compare it to your old lens and see.

Re: 12 - 60 Wow!
Wow is right! This is an awesome lens.....
I wish I could carry it! I sold my Canon equipment due to the weight - so the 12-60 is not something I can even look at!
But.....I'll enjoy your photos.
Congratulations.

Congratulations. I'm mostly a Canon shooter but I have to admit, the Olympus 12-60mm is one of my favorite lenses ever! It's so versatile and the optics are wonderful. Olympus really needs to make a Micro Four Thirds version of this lens!
Please make sure to write a review for your new lens and your other Olympus camera gear. Your reviews are the foundation of PhotographyREVIEW.com!

Nose to the wheel for the next month but it will be going on hols with me after that and will write something up. Hoping to spend a lot of time with my ancient oly compact (cos it has an underwater housing  )
Liz you're right. Was toying with flogging my 14 - 45 but may just hang on to it for quick trips to the beach, walking the dog etc.

I think it's worth keeping, too. You'll have it as a backup lens in case, god forbid, something happens to your 12-60mm. I also like the 14-45 when I want to pack really small and light. Even though it's a Four Thirds lens, the 12-60mm is pretty chunky.

Re: 12 - 60 Wow!
I hung onto my E-300 and the 14-45 because they're basically worthless and adequate as a backup should anything bad happen.
I love the 12-60mm, btw. It's so versatile and sharp that it doesn't leave the camera often. Nice choice.
