    Mind Numbing Pandering

We all know that McCain and Republicans are big proponents of extensive and intrusive government spying on citizens. They've defended that stand repeatedly. Well, guess what? So are Democrats. The Democratic majority House approved a Bush plan to not only extend blanket surveillance of US individuals but also grants amnesty to telecom companies from being punished for the spying felonies they committed by request for the corrupt Bush administration.

Obama used to be against this type of amnesty and spying but has now turned 180 degrees around and supports it. The quick bottom line? Fear of being labeled "soft on terrorism" in an election year. Pathetic.

Politicians are pure scum, bottom feeders that we are forced to support with our tax dollars. There isn't a single member among them that ever thinks about what is best for America. The overwhelming thought among them all is simple: "What's in it for me?"

Am I bitter? You bet I am!

    mw,

Although I know that we would disagree on most politics, I agree 100% with you on this.
