The Wacky Thing I Saw On Ebay

There is one of these threads on another forum I belong to and it's proved to be quite hilarious. Would love to see some of the funny auctions you have stumbled across. They don't necessarily have to be photography related.

Here's a funny one I stumbled across this morning...

What the hell? They must have edited the auction to a completely different item http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110220754161 ... It originally was a few boxes of fiber based photo paper. The funny thing is in the picture in the auction, half the boxes were wide open and in the description it said paper may have been exposed to light and may no longer be useable...LOL

What confused me was when I clicked on the link and looked at the CD, and then proceeded to the bottom and read the 2 questions and answers. Evidentally, the item has been changed but they left the old questions there. It is kinda funny when you read the answers.

ROTFL... That's awesome. I didn't even notice the questions were still there. I don't think you can remove those when you revise. They do a good job of summing up the auction though

Hope that dude's at least wearing shorts!

I couldn't figure the first one out either until I saw the questions at the bottom. I've heard of this happening, and on another board awhile back a LF shooter said he brought some sheet film into a lab. Now, this film is stored in light tight boxes just like paper and is destroyed the same way if the box is opened in daylight. Guess what the new clerk at the lab did...

Hurts just thinking about it! That would not be a good situation. I think I would have to hop the counter at that point :mad2: ...LOL

Actually, if he closed the box fast enough, only the top sheet probably got ruined. The light won't penetrate thru and ruin all of them.
