    Vista Memory Hog?

So I was installing Fireworks MX on my new vista laptop...and it prompted me for a CD key...which I wrote on the CD...so I took out the cd and put the serial in, and clicked next...without putting the CD back in...and it installed...works great...it was really confusing.

    That is all.

someone should try that on XP for me.

I'm not sure how the title fits but... Many times, the installation of third party software is completed before the CD key is asked for. The CD is not needed anymore, including XP as well as Vista.

yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking, but I'm pretty sure when I do something like that on XP it makes me put the CD back in, but I dont know if I had done it with Macromedia software before.

I guess it's something good to know.
