This may not be true, BUT I have seen with my own eyes similar situations. I have seen people blow themselves up doing stupid things that ALL of us know to be wrong. I have seen people get their motorcycles stuck trying to get them into the house. I have also seen paramedics drop people attached to stretchers and watch them roll down a hill.
It is not funny at the time (well sometimes it is) but it is real life. This is funny because it COULD have happened somewhere and we laugh because we know it is a possibility.
