Studs Terkel R.I.P

Studs Terkel died today at the age of 96. I was only introduced to Studs a few years ago when I heard him interviewed on Wisconsin Public Radio. He was talking about his book: And They All Sang: Adventures of an Eclectic Disc Jockey. His stories, and they way he told them were captivating. After that first encounter with Studs, my ears always perked up when I heard his name. The only things I have heard from Studs are from the last few years, and they were always very interesting. I can only imagine what he was like so many years ago.
