    Washing Machine Longevity Tips

I’ve been having some issues with my washing machine lately, and I'm looking for some good advice on how to keep it running smoothly. I know overloading and not cleaning the filter can be a problem, but what other tips do you guys have to make sure my washing machine lasts as long as possible? I’m not the most mechanically inclined person, so anything simple and easy to do would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

    Re: Washing Machine Longevity Tips

Good call on wanting to keep that washing machine in shape. Aside from not overloading it and keeping the filter clean, make sure you’re using the right amount of detergent—too much can mess up the machine. Also, check the hoses for any signs of wear or leaks regularly. I had a similar issue, and after following some basic tips, I reached out to Astera Services https://www.asteraservice.com/ in Chicago for a professional check-up. They’re fantastic with HVAC and appliance service. They sorted out my washing machine issues and gave me great advice on maintenance. Definitely worth a shout if you want to keep your appliances running like new!
