    pirates of the carribean 2
    quite good imo.
not as good as the first one of course, but the first one was just way good.
it sure did get a ton of money over the weekend. (132 million)
i think it was the best cgi that ive ever seen.
    you should see it!

Yeah, early reviews have been pretty positive...

I'll probably see it this weekend. Thing is, I don't expect it to be as good as the first, so I doubt I'll be disappointed.

Besides, with Depp's coolness and hilarity, Bloom's boyish good looks and charm, and Knightley's stunning beauty, how can it not be enjoyable?...

I'm glad someone posted a review of this :)

I'm excited to see it. I heard that it was getting bad reviews at first, but when I looked up the reviews they all seemed pretty positive.

I'm a fan of Depp, largely because he has done a lot of off-the-track films and despite his good looks, has largely avoided doing plasticy "chick flicks" and the like. He seems to enjoy the art of acting and his resume supports it.

I also like Bloom largely because of his portrayal of the elf in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

    And Knightly is a cutie!

btw, when are they coming out with 21 Jump Street on DVD???

    Do go see it Rick!
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie! The one thing I wish I hadn't done, is watch the promo's and commercials for Pirates 2. Too many really funny lines and scenes were given away!

I'm a fan for the same reasons.

They are already out. Not advertising Amazon :D But have a look. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002F6B2E/ref=nosim/102-1988668-9390549?n=130

Oh. My. God. Look how young they all are! Lara you just made my day :)

I will go see the movie. I have avoided reading too in depth into the reviews because I want to be surprised.

    Thanks!

LOL Adina.... that he is. Rick, what can we say, he just is!!!

Adina, did you see Libertine? It was very explicit, and difficult to watch, but a very artistic movie. After watching the deleted scenes on the DVD, I came to the conclusion they left out some of the best of the work.

You don't need to resort to that you have a certain quiet and naturally rugged sexiness in some of your self portraits that requires no grime...
(note: that isn't highlighted in a different color= serious comment)

but if you want to slap on the grime and makeup for the sake of debate---go to town:smilewinkgrin:

Yes, nothing says "man" like last year's model pink backpack.

How ever did you find that picture?!

The one you're talking about (I'm told I don't actually look like that) is in my profile, if you click on my name. I was... 22?

Hardy-har. I was being nice to my girlfriend that day.

And did I mention I almost got my ass kicked by a couple of rednecks for wearing that?
