Photographing London landmarks

The editor of a leading UK-based photography website says he was stopped by police for 'taking photos of iconic landmarks' in central London.

Because the last thing people would ever want to take pictures of is 'iconic landmarks' @@

Sheesh. That's just ridiculous.

I find it strangely amusing that other officers were posing for pics while this one was filling out the form.
I had to look up the form and one site has people posting their forms. On one there was a box checked that it was a 'planned operation'.
I'm hoping that over here it won't be suddenly decided that terrorists might want to use Mt. Rainier as a terrorist base and we aren't allowed to take pics of it anymore.

You mean it isn't?
Doesn't Mt. Rainier have a huge door and a villain inside it with one eye and a white cat?
I've been watching too many Bond films ...
