    Paris Hilton
Sentence cut in half due to 'good behavior'. I guess that means she didn't run over anyone this week. As with all celebs, she gets segregated from the 'unwashed masses'. What the heck is wrong with this country's judicial system when a football star gets away with murder, and bad behavior by the spoiled rich and famous get off far easier than the general citizenry? 'justice for all' my left foot!

Yeah, America is screwed up. Not much we can do about it sadly. :(

I thought it was interesting that she got credit for good behavior just by showing up for her court date... And how do you get credit for good behavior if you haven't even been to jail yet? Shouldn't good behavior be based on your behavior once you're actually in jail? I mean, if she was so good, she wouldn't be going to jail in the first place!

In the UK a sentence is almost always half what the judge hands down.
The reductions for good behaviour usually start when you get into prison though.
