3. (c) Cold weather caused the milk to freeze and expand, popping the bottle top.

12 -16 correct: Not quite dirt yet, but you're getting there.

0 -11 correct: You are not old enough to share the wisdom of your experiences.

Can't believe it Jeff I missed one. I thought I would ace this one. But I went with Tucker on number 6. That was a couple of years before I was born.

I also went with the Tucker and got the wrong Princes on Howdy Doody. 18 isn't bad. - TF

I got 19! Missed #16 though I do remember the smell, didn't know it got one high.
I admit I wouldn't have done as well if it hadn't been multiple choice.
I think the most vivid memory the test brought back was the Royal Crown cola bottles.

Failed miserably on the American TV references.
But educated guesses brought it up to only 17/20

OK, that was interesting. Since I did not watch Howdy Doody that is the only one I missed.

I got a 16 and I'm still a few years from 40.

I love question #1 because the 1991 Ford F150 that is my everyday driver still has the floor dimmer switch. :) I actually prefer it to the hand operated dimmer switches.

My wife just got all 20.

I also prefer the floor dimmer switch. I have never unsderstood why it is a good thing to take your hand off the wheel.

I've driven a few trucks with a floor starters and some with a push button starter on the dash.

Question, how old is this test? I'm now officially "over 40" (wow, that hurts) as of a couple of months ago. A lot of the questions seem to be a little before my time... :)

It said older members test your memory in the title. It ain't for you young kids LOL.

The questionnaire for your generation will have questions about cell phones, microwave ovens, VCR's, CD players and mullet hair cuts, Jeff

Gramps, I missed 1 #9 Damn, I had no idea on the gettin high part... Not cool, not cool at all! But being older than dirt and keeping my glasses welded on I got no probs...

Had a '48 Willys P/U for a few years with a push button starter (you know like the *new* technology they're touting on the current auto ads :rolleyes: ) and a "3 on the tree".


Missed the Tucker one and the "Butch wax" tripped me up because my mother always used Butcher's wax and an electric buffer to do the floors in the house.
