    Movie I really liked

My wife and I just came from seeing Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium at the movies and I thought it was very good. It is a "G" movie that you can take the kids to or go by yourself, either way it is well worth seeing.

No sex, no violence, no language, just a good movie. May not be your kind of movie but I really liked it, Jeff

Took my 6 yr old to see this last week. She loved it. Been talking about it for days.

DH and I both thought is was really cute as well.

    Thanks for posting this Grandpaw!

My husband and I are planning on taking our two younger ones, but I hadn't heard anything about it. I have a very difficult time sitting through kid movies, but this one sounds like I may like it.

Sounds like a good one to me. Took my nephews and daughter to see enchanted over Turkey Day. Not bad and not good, a perfectly fine family movie.

    Re: Movie I really liked

It looked to be a very fun movie and I'm glad you brought it up. I will be taking my 11 year old son to see it. I and a friend went to see Beowulf last week and thought it was good. I am not convinced the computer generated characters are near perfection yet but the effect is quite intriguing. 300 was better visually imo.

I also saw Beowulf and liked it.

But I think I would have liked it even better if they used real actors, instead of the CG'd ones.

Agreed, thats what I thought was the weakest aspect of the movie. The CG characters are not quite there yet, although impressive. But it felt at times as though I were watching a video game.
