Well no, I don't expect a big response from y'all with this news, but I do know there ARE some South Florida members, so I figured the time is right to shout it from the rooftops:

Okay I was serious.

He's a Marquette U graduate. And it was Dwyane Wade, they talked about his 30 some points.

We are football people, and occasionally hockey. I like my sports to have some contact in them. :)

I'm not big on basketball either- too hard to shoot :)
But i watched the finals (all the games we won actually) and was so glad to see us win the championship! Coincidentally a lot of the heat's starters were University of Florida Gators, and that team also won their basketball championship this year :)

Well then, you might enjoy seeing him play. Wade's MO is to drive to the basket, and whether he makes the shot or not, he usually gets smashed to the floor. He then calmly sinks the free throw... :cool:

I've been a Shaq watcher since his LSU days. I don't like Pat Riley, but I believe he is a great coach.

Wade is definitley the REAL DEAL.

I'm obligated to like pat riley. back in the day, I went to cotillion with his daughter and several of my friends panicked when they were picked to dance with her :)
