fa la la la la - who's ready for christmas?

anyone? or are you guys like me, and like to leave too much to the last minute and then totally stress to get it done?

gifts are handled, food is not. actually, gifts aren't really done either. come to think of it, we barely have our tree up this year, it has no ornaments....

that could have been written by me, word for word.

i've actually put the gym in my calender, if i don't go and release stress, i'm afraid i'll stab someone in the eyeball with a pencil. that's never a good look for christmas. neither is an orange jumpsuit. ;)

    Yep, nothing done.
No present for Angie, no Card for Angie ... and my car had to be left at work because of the snow.
Honestly less than 2" of snow and the city grinds to a halt!
    They just were not prepared.

LoL! I got a mental picture of "someone" wearing a orange jumpsuit running like crazy stabbing happy pedestrians in the eye with pencil while laughing like mad. Merry Xmass folks!

Re: fa la la la la - who's ready for christmas?

Actually got everything done but wrapping presents. It used to be "tradition" for my Dad, sister, and myself to go shopping on Christmas Eve. We've kind of gotten away from that the last couple years though, but I still wrap Christmas Eve.

Believe it or not the shopping on that day is actually fun if you just relax and let everyone else go nuts around you. Sometimes you can get some good deals too at last minute. I think it helps that we usually have lists of exactly what we're looking for.

    done! kidding...sort of.

not only do we have christmas this time of year, two of us have birthdays within a week of christmas, and our anniversary is 5 days before.

it's generally a hectic time, even if i do shop in july.

I've got a birthday coming up too... The party usually starts around New Years and well eventually everybody has to go home or back to work or well, you get the idea.

Many happy celebrations, New Years, birthday and Happy Anniversary. How many years of wedded bliss? Approximations are fine.

    Happy New Year!!
