    Large tiles in small spaces

Hi folks! I fell in love with some big 24x24 inch floor tiles, but the room I am renovating is quite small. My friend says large tiles will look overwhelming in a tiny space. Has anyone actually tried using oversized tiles in a small room?

Re: Large tiles in small spaces

Greetings! Your friend is actually mistaken because large tiles are fantastic for small spaces. Because there are fewer grout lines, the floor looks like one continuous surface instead of a busy grid pattern. It tricks your brain into thinking the room is much larger than it is. I used big square tiles in my tiny laundry room and the transformation was awesome. I chose Dream House Tile https://dreamhousetile.ca/ to do the work because leveling a floor for larger formats takes a lot of precision. They provide exceptional tile installation services in Toronto and GTA and made sure the transitions were seamless. I highly recommend going with the larger size if you want a clean aesthetic.
