    Snow Day!!!

8-10 inches at my house since yesterday. They are calling for more this week. Girls are thrilled, dog is thrilled, I'm warm in my house drinking coffee.

    Love it.

    photos to come....

Send some of that snow this way Adina! We only got an inch or two. Not enough to break out the snowshoes yet.

ahhhh yes - my dog loves the snow. Throw snow-balls and she will chase them and the head gets buried looking. It is a funny site - she is little too so she jumps through the snow like a little deer.

No Fair! Up in Northern Minneosta (near Duluth) we still only have a light dusting in the areas the sun doesn't get to. We've had such a drought the last 4 years other than this summer when we got enough rain to keep the grass green anyway.. we need a real winter of snow!

    Re: Snow Day!!!

It's snowing again today! 3-4 inches is what they are predicting....but school was already a late start for some other reason, they will not be cancelling today.

Screw snow. Actually no, it's too cold for that. Best just leave it alone.

    Re: Snow Day!!!

and I thought that I got a ton of snow here with 3 inches total. Before you ask, I'll have to say no thanks (that's when you ask me if I want it). And to think they delayed school here for 2 hours this morning because of slick roads, if we had your 8 to 10 inches they'd be canceled for at least 2 days.

    Re: Snow Day!!!

Tonny, I don't know if you realize this, but you can't have snow without cold.

Mjs, that must be awful tough wearing snowshoes and skis at the same time.

UPS just delivered snowshoes to my door today. I think this may be the year. We just got about 4" on top of the couple we had. It won't take much more to be able to try out the shoes.
