    Happy Birthday Commodore 64!

My first experience with a computer was playing games on a Commodore 64 at a friends house. I don't remember much about it, but I knew I wanted one at the time. I remember playing a game where you could design your own pin ball game and then play it. Other than that, I don't remember a whole lot, other than that tan keyboard. I did see one in thrift shop a few years ago and it took me back to those childhood memories that seem so long ago...

Here is a site where you can learn more about the C64. www.c64.com

I had a VIC 20. It came out just before the 64. The floppy drive would shake, rattle and smoke.LOL

My first computer was a Commodore 64. I paid $300 for it used! I mainly used it for writing. It accepted 5 1/4" floppies, and took forever to load the programs, lol.

I learned how to type on one with their typing program!

The games I loved were the text games that would give you a situation. Like you find yourself locked in a cabin on the boat.... Now what? My kids would die over those games now. No graphics at all.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.
