One of my favorite character actors, Bruno Kirby, has died from complications from leukemia at age 57:

Probably best known as a Billy Crystal sidekick in both City Slickers and When Harry Met Sally, Kirby appeared in many other films, including a boyhood pal to a young Don Corleone (Robert Deniro) in The Godfather Part II.
He was good in every role he played. I'll miss him...
