    Shell in Indy.....
No joke, one side of the street gas was $2.19 a gallon, while across the street it's $2.89. Needless to say that station ran out of gas quick....but then it is the cheapest in the country.

heh, I was just thinking that the 2.89 was pretty cheap! it's still around 3.29 here. At least it isn't 4.09 anymore!

I can't wait for the gas on sale trend to hit here, I can finally afford a whole tank of gas :D

and with the jeep, that doesn't get you very far :cryin:

UH??? My Jeep does pretty well on gas.....4.0L and it gets 18 in town and 24 on the highway..... now my Ram 2500HD is lucky to get 9mpg in town, but always gets 19 highway, even towing a really heavy trailer

My '99 4.0 TJ gets an average of 13.5 in the city, and 15 highway. That's real miles, not sticker miles. The sticker advertizes a few more than that. Still, I don't know why anyone has anything but a jeep :D

Mines a 92 XJ and it does pretty well since I tuned it and fixed a very minor fuel leak at the fuel rail, took 1 minute to replace the O-ring.
I also have an 87 thats offroad only although I could plate it and drive it on the road if needed, runs great, but not the same milage due to the gearing and tires.
