    I'm looking for a great (1.8) d60 compatible lens

    Some lenses won't auto-focus
Some lenses don't have the Vibration Reduction
Then there's the pros and cons between 35mm and 50mm
Also, the pros and cons between the bokehs

    I'm trying to find a 1.8 lens >$200
    What are your thoughts?

Should I upgrade my camera instead and wait to get a new lens?
I'm having a real tough time deciding

    Nevermind!
I asked this question on some other sites and found my answer.
the vibration reduction isn't a big issue with this lens.
    I'll be getting the 35mm.

Just to mame sure everyone has got the message - the 35mm f1.8 DX is THE normal-view prime lens for APS-C sensor cameras. It works fine with the lower-end models. In fact it really improves the look of the camera. Put this fat, short lens on the D60 and it suddenly looks and feels like a pro camera.

I'll chime in just to agree with everything Charles said. Even though it's the least relevant, I definitely also agree with how this guy looks on my d40, or my d90 plus grip is even better.
    mostly Nikon gear
