Yep, I check his site for updates several times a week. He has some great articles and reviews. You kind of have to take all his stuff with a grain of salt as he writes quite exclusively from his own point of view, as opposed to all readers. But with that in mind, his information is great.

Some people think it's a waste of time reading his stuff. So take his stuff with a grain of salt is a good advice.

Even at this early stage in my experience with the DSLR, I can tell I don't agree with him in a number of areas. I just like him because he lays it all out exhaustively so there is valuable information in what he says. Reading his stuff is like having an idiosyncratic, but experienced teacher.

I think that's a good bottom line. He knows his stuff, but he shoots how he shoots which may be different than how you shoot. He doesn't preach that you should do this or that, just what works for him. He's also quite opinionated and I think that's where some people have a problem with his advice. Personally, I think it's great that you know where he stands.
