    Lense Change

I have a D200 and have been using my 24-85 2.8 for 95% of my shooting in last year. They other 5% is my wide angle.

I have a 85mm 1.4 prime a super sharp super fast lense. It is a little cool for most of my work (portraits) and not as flexible since it is fixed.

Do I change it out for the 17-55 2.8?

If so, then why keep the 24-85 since it is essentially the same (except the 24-85 is a macro)

    any ideas?

    thanks,
    Wes

    Re: Lense Change

Good question and I'll be interested in the responses you get. I am in much the same dilemma right now. I have the 28-70 f2.8 that is my general purpose lens on the D200. When I sold the D70 I let the 18-70mm go with it. So now I am with out a wide angle lens. I have really been in a quandary as to what my next lens purchase should be to fill this void.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
