I have a set of the Kenko (Canon mount) tubes, and they are great. They take some getting use to, but once you figure them out, they open up a whole new world. One thing to keep in mind is that you will want to focus manually.

Be sure to check out this thread to find out more about using tubes.

i have them kenko tubes for my D50 - they work great with all the lenses ---- get really close with the 50mm / with the longer lenses can use the zoom to focus .... gets really touchy with the focus - make sure you use a tripod at the closer ranges ....

I have some tubes for my Olympus and even though they are for the camera you can forget AF. I have to set the camera in manual. In other words, non-Nikon tubes may work just as good if the Nikon ones are like the Olys. They take getting use to.
