    Back from the coast.

Been gone with the exception of a pop-in here and there. We were researching habitat and trying to get out some before everything goes quiet. Here's some of what we got in Savannah and Tybee Island.

    Critique is welcome.

Great pictures Payn817. I really like the cormorant(?), the spider, and the first shore bird with the water rushing in.

    Welcome back, Payn.

I really like #2 and #4. Can you go any wider on #2?

#4 is a real winner all by itself. I love how you timed it so that the head and body are within the bright band of the wave. I call it encapsulation. Very nice. Print it

    Re: Back from the coast.

    Thanks everyone.

Loupey, #2 is full frame. I only had one lens at that moment, the rest were in the car, and no room to move back. It's a shame I couldn't have gotten a little more room to the left. Thanks so much for the comment on the piper/wave. That's the first "print it" i've ever gotten...lol

The species list from today was nice.
    Cooper's hawk (no image)
    anhinga (photo1)
    least sindpiper (not pp yet)
    white ibis (no image)
    GB heron (no image)
    Alligators
    morehen
    tri-colored heron
    red-winged blackbirds
    seagulls
    sindpipers (image 4/5)
    brown pelican
    snowy egret

That's all I can recall off the top of my head. Not bad for the wrong time of the year, I'll be going back.
