    You looking at me?

This was taken about a mile from the Grand Canyon south rim. She was standing right next to the road, and as I slowed down she scampered up into the trees. I quickly stopped and snapped off a couple of shots before they ran off.

    Cool, Steve.

Isn't it funny how animals will completely ignore moving cars whizzing by but the moment one slows and stops, they will usually take off. Same goes for looking at them - they get spooked by the eyes - so try not making eye contact until the very last moment.

I was a bit surprised that this was really the only wildlife I saw. With snow on the ground you would think there would be quite a bit on movement looking for food. I did overhear a lady at one of the overlook say she saw some wolves on the drive in. Now that would have been very cool to get a shot of them.
