World of Light
Even boring background can make good bokeh if time/distance/etc is right. Comments ?

Thanks Ronnie, I appreciate it.
My theme lately has been simplicity it seems. Nice to know they are still well recieved.

I really appreciate simplicity and find your images to be inspiring. It has been difficult for me to step back and give space to the subject with success such as yours. Is this photo with the STF? I think you recently got the 70-300 Sony (may be someone else) if so, what do you think of it? I've had it for about two months, but have had block also and haven't shot much. Thanks

Re: World of Light
Hehehe dont hate your name its interesting and unique :) I found it on your other website, ill just call you by your handle here if you prefer.
Inspiring, woe. :) Thanks.
I did take that shot with the STF, and the 75-300 was my first lens. Comments, well its a lens alright. It is a bargain for sure. Used in the sweet spot (f7.1-f10) it is actually pretty sharp, but your bokeh isn't going to look very good. It suffers from CA in high contrast situations (but is better in the sweet spot and higher Apps) and slightly soft around the edges, but what can you expect for 200 bucks? Overall since i've found the right way to use it, it isn't bad, but im growing out of it quick. Right now im using it for my wildlife shots, and the autofocus is too slow and it hunts like mad. If im dilligent however, and use center spot and Continuous Autofocus, I have got some good (not amazing) shots of birds in flight etc. So there you go, a mini review. :) Did you say suffer from Block? Photo block? you mean ... thats normal? Great!!!
