    Woodpeckers and a Creeper

Had several woodpeckers roughing it through the wind and snow today. As many as four Downies on the tree at one time. Here are a couple shots of a Yellow Shafted Northern Flicker and a Downy woodpecker. Also caught a Brown Creeper. Neat little birds. If you don't catch them at the right angle they blend in with the trunk of the tree.

Wow! Very nice shots. Looks like you were in the middle of a snow storm:eek6: The flicker is a wild looking bird! The eyes say it all.

    Great shots!
I've seen a flicker and a brown creeper near my place several times but they were always too far away to get a good shot.
