Woodpecker

Well, i only know this bird to be a woodpecker because thats kinda what it did
anyway,

shot with a Pentax K100D and a promaster 70-300mm f/4-5.6

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's a Red Bellied Woodpecker?

Nice shot though! It looks like your focal point might have been the edge of the feeder, his legs are kind of fuzzy.

Yellow Bellied Sapsucker, I think. At least that's what I've always thought when they show up in my yard.

Hmmm. They don't come around much anymore - maybe I insulted them by calling them the wrong name?
