Wildlife Reserve

I haven't posted in these forums for years so I thought here would be a good place to start. I went out to a nearby Wildlife Reserve and photographed a Tule Elk and some other wildlife. I had never seen an Elk before.Attachment 92634Attachment 92635

Very nice! I really like the hawk photo. Do you know what kind of hawk it is?

The elk photo is nice, too. I've seen plenty of elk but I don't think I've ever seen a tule elk. How big was it?

What kind of camera gear did you use for these photos? Also - can you tell us more about the wildlife reserve? Where was it and how much wildlife did you see? Was it an open park or were the animals fenced?
