Green Heron Nest in the Viera Wetlands

Yesterday, I posted some photos of an Anhinga feeding its chicks. A Green Heron Nest is on the same Palm Tree as the Anhinga Nest. This afternoon I returned and was able to confirm that the Green Heron Nest has two eggs.

I've spotted a number of nests this year and they've all been low (2-3' max) of course your mileage may vary
