We finally got dragons!

They're still abit skittish, active, and few in numbers. Hopefully I'll get some better ones later this year. Some other random things too...

Cool - you did a great job with these d-flies. I find them a challenging subject with their large size, outstretched wings, and often timid behavior. We're starting to get some here too. Can't wait to try some new angles I have in mind.

Plus, it'll get me to stop shooting all these birds :p :rolleyes:

All great Payn817 but #2 is the one for me great detail, waiting on these to come out here but still windy and wet, hoping next week for it to get better as going camping on our river where they are quite plentiful.

Thanks everyone, it was really nice to get out and stretch my legs after playing Mr. Mom (mom was in an accident) for the past week. BUT, it's mom and we only get one, so no complaints here.


Loupey - Good! You need to leave those things alone! I remember the wonderful dragonfly photos of last summer. Those photos really changed the way I look for subjects, and the type I look for. Prior to that, it was mostly architecture and misc. crap.

Bev- I'm sure you'll have some great ones to show us. I haven't seen a subject/situation that gives you a hard time yet.
