    Glow Berries

I took a short walk this evening with the Tokina 12-22mm. On the way back to the truck, I saw these berries being lit from behind. There was only a small opening in the canopy for the sun to get thru, and it was making the berries glow.

I absolutely love walking towards a setting sun through the woods. The patches where the sun peeks through is absolutely gorgeous. Hard to capture the kind of greens that one sees out there.

Nice job working that new lens of yours. How close can you focus with that thing? Keep posting!

Thanks Loupey. The min focusing distance on this lens it just under a foot (11.8"). I put my shortest ext. tube on it yesterday to see what I could do, but that made the focusing distance so small, the lens was casting a shadow on my subject. I will keep playing, um, I mean practicing.

Very nice shot, good eye seeing that shot and capturing it in tough lighting.
