    And the views down under...

I purchased a waterproof plastic bag at a dive-shop and put my trusty-dusty point and shoot into it. Most images did not come out because of focus issues or folds in the plastic. But, a few came out Ok. Nothing to be proud of....

Shots are (again) from Queen Caye, Belize.
    Thanks for looking,
    Tim

These came out nice Tim. I'd be real nervous about putting my camera in a bag.
    Were you snorkeling or diving?

Is your P&S a digital? If so, a custom white balance for the special underwater lighting might make the colors pop more.

These are pretty cool shots Tim. I just read about making a "periscope" or underwater tube out of PVC pipe and a piece of glass for shooting subjects in the water. The camera doesn't go in the water, gust the end of the tube. Might be something else to try out. I might give it a whirle one of these days.

    Cheers,
    Tim

p.s. Chunk, thanks for the ideas. From talking to real unerwater shooters, everything just turns blue if you are not up real close. I may give it a go though...
