Two hoverfly's

Just a couple of hoverfly’s from today, I’ve been too busy to get out and do much shooting. Both images have not been cropped… I used my new Canon 430EX speedlight and a LumiQuest softbox for the flash (just messing around with the new flash).

Unreal how you captured so much detail in these and they are so very sharp well Captured Copy :)

Excellent choice in lighting direction. Nice soft shadows and the detail on the fly and leaf are exquisite!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. S/W, I used the Sigma 150mm macro lens, tubes, and Canon 2X TC.

Looks like we got ourselves a macro man. The quality of light is great. :thumbsup:
