    a couple of stragglers from WTBA

    just a couple that I missed.

    female?


    this one has his eye open, unlike the junco I posted in the Where the Birds Are post (WTBA).


    another failed chickadee shot - now it's a mission.



    and a gull in flight, complete with light post. Are these ringbilled gulls?



    edit: got rid of the light post. still blown out though, nothing I can do about that!

    The slate blue/gray coloration in both DEJ's tells me (at least ) that they are both males.

    That's some impressive PP work on the gull shot!

    Nice images Erik, not sure where you have failed on the Chickadee shots though!! i love the angle in which you have caught him here.
    The Gulls look like either a first summer Great Black-backed Gull or a first winter Herring Gull, but its definately a juvenile, but im sure Paulnj will know for sure.
