    Chipping Sparrow

So I've gone from not ever noticing these fellows before to seeing three of them today. And heard a lot more. I think I've heard them before and assumed they were some sort of cricket! Squeaky little peepers, aren't they?

Do they breeding this late? They almost seemed to be dueling with songs today.

Storm was rolling in (over us now... pouring and thunder..) so even at 1600 ISO with my 50-250 open wide, I wasn't able to get better than the first one. Luckily my flash had better range than I expected, so the rest of the shots were taken with the pop up flash.
