Travelled light today

I left the tripod, camera bag and bigma at home today, opting to just take the k20 with my Tamron 28-200 lens out for a walk. I found having just the one lens changed the shots I was taking. It made for a fun afternoon hike, and a much easier one without all the gear...

Aging Eyes and Clicker, thank you for the kind comments. This morning it is windy with a steady fall of snow out of a dull overcast so it looks like its time to dig out the woolies and adjust to winter shots up here.

Forcing oneself to carry less is always a great exercise to 1) learn how to work a scene, and 2) learn how to see based on what is available to you.

I never carry a camera bag into the field.
