    Sunning Turtle
When it was 64 on Friday, this guy was out sunning himself. Poor thing probably wanted to know what the heck happened when it was snowing the next day.

These were shot through a fence (deer guard wire fence), most with the 300mm f4 L IS and a 32mm extension tube. The more zoomed back shot was taken with the 24-105mm.

Too much glare on his head, I need to remember to carry a polarizer!

Do they still grow during winter hibernation? Probably his/her first time out since he went to bed in November :)
