Still Missing

A few weeks ago I got the shot of one looking directly at me in the water. I'm still missing the one looking directly away. Problem is that they tend to point towards shore when in the water.

Anyway, this one from yesterday also.

These guys scare the begeezes out of me. The pond is still and all is quiet, I'm walking silently along the bank, then an unseen one leaps out 3' in front of me while making a loud croak (more like a groan/greek) in midair.

Hmmm, I midair shot possibly?

Midair shot would be very cool - good luck! Talk about patience . . .

They scare the bugger out of me as well - while looking for wayward golf shots I nearly end up in the pond with them sometimes as they ambush me.

Yeah, I'm gonna need an assistant to make 'em jump in the right direction. That means I have to find them first :p

Midair huh..... prefocus and use a stick to get it jumping.

Good luck setting up though ;)

LOL! Without my assistant to help me, here are two mid-air near misses. Difficult to walk, focus, scare them, and shoot all at once by yourself :p

Time for me to yank my assistant out of elementary school :D

This weekend, I got the missing one that I wanted (frog looking away) and also another looking directly at me in the same morning light. Spliced here for fun. I will need to shoot another one looking at me from a lower angle to match the "away" shot.

Also got the jumpin' one too this weekend.

Sorry for the "butt shot" but my assistant was away for the weekend :)
